Jane A. Banas, M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C. I am the current owner of The Counseling Center for Women. I am licensed by the State of Michigan and I am a nationally board certified counselor. Having completed my undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, I took time off to raise my family and then went on to earn a Master's degree in counseling from Oakland University. My strongest area of interest centers on all women's issues. Most central to my philosophy is empowering women to their full potential. I have worked with women and women's groups for several years. Kristine (Tina) Marcuz, M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C. I have earned a Masters in Counseling from Oakland University. I am nationally board certified (NBCC) and licensed by the State of Michigan. My affiliation with the Counseling Center for Women began in 1999 and my work centers on individual therapy with adults and adolescents as well as developing and facilitating women's support groups. My professional interests include self-esteem, interpersonal-relationships, development of healthy life skills, life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. My mission is to provide each individual with a safe, comfortable and confidential environment to explore themselves and determine their needs and goals. I would describe my theoretical approach in assisting each person in their personal growth and well being as eclectic with a strong emphasis on cognitive behavioral techniques. I am a Rochester resident and the mother of two daughters.

I joined the Counseling Center for Women in 2003. I am a nationally board certified, licensed counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling from Oakland University. I work with clients on a variety of issues such as: anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, self-esteem, gender identity and relationships. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Michigan Counseling Association and the Michigan Association for Marriage and Family Counseling. Olivia Anderson, M.A., L.L.P.C., N.C.C. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Oakland University. I am licensed by the State of Michigan as a limited license professional counselor. I joined the Counseling Center for Women in 2007. My professional interests include career counseling, relationship issues, parenting issues and personal and professional development through goal setting. Kathleen Quaile, M.A., L.L.P. I have a Master's degree in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology (formerly the Center for Humanistic Studies) and am licensed by the State of Michigan as limited license psychologist. I have worked with individuals, families and groups on a variety of issues including eating disorders, relationships, self-esteem, substance abuse, depression and anxiety. I approach therapy from a humanistic perspective and believe it is a process of helping clients gain self-knowledge and uncovering the answers which lie within.
